The CAO Bones Blind Hughie Toro arrives in boxes of 20, handcrafted at Nicaragua’s STG Esteli factory as part of the Bones series inspired by dominoes gaming culture, featuring a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper over Connecticut Shade binder and a complex tri-nation filler of Nicaraguan Esteli, Honduran Jamastran/La Entrada, and Dominican Piloto Cubano. This muscular 6 x 54 toro delivers medium-to-full-bodied enjoyment over 55-90 minutes, opening with rich wood, earth, cedar, and black pepper alongside creamy vanilla, coffee, chocolate, and toasted nuts that evolve through nutty complexity, cocoa sweetness, and subtle spice into a balanced, sociable finale. Named for the luck-based “Blind Hughie” domino play and blended by CAO’s Rick Rodriguez for casual gatherings, its solid construction yields even burn, firm ash, and approachable yet dynamic profile akin to its Chicken Foot sibling.
