La Galera Anemoi Boreas cigars are presented in boxes of 20 and are handcrafted at Jochy Blanco’s Tabacalera Palma factory in the Dominican Republic. Inspired by the Greek god of the North Wind, this blend features a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper over a Dominican Corojo binder from the Jacagua farm, with a refined filler blend of Criollo ’98 tobaccos grown at the La Canela estate, creating a rich and well-balanced profile.
This Short Corona (4 3/4 x 46) delivers a medium to full-bodied experience over approximately 45 minutes. It opens with notes of sweet maple, creamy nuts, and coffee, complemented by a touch of cinnamon spice. As the cigar develops, flavours evolve into mocha, espresso, leather, and roasted nuts, with a hint of pepper on the retrohale leading into a balanced and slightly spiced finish. Known for its excellent construction, consistent burn, and generous smoke output, it offers a satisfying and engaging smoking experience.
Showcasing Jochy Blanco’s estate-grown tobaccos and blending expertise, the Boreas combines depth and balance in a compact format, making it an ideal choice for shorter, more contemplative smoking moments.
