The CAO Arcana Stokk is one of the most innovative releases in the CAO portfolio, created as part of the boundary-pushing Arcana Series in collaboration with the renowned Stokkebye family. Designed to explore the crossover between cigar and pipe tobacco, Stokk delivers a truly unique, two-stage smoking experience that sets it apart from traditional blends.
Presented in a 6″ × 50 format, the cigar is crafted in Nicaragua at the Scandinavian Tobacco Group factory in EstelÃ. It features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder, with a distinctive filler blend that includes Honduran tobaccos alongside Dominican Andullo and Cypriot Latakia.
From the first light, Stokk opens with the Andullo-aged tobacco from the Dominican Republic, offering a rich, earthy profile full of depth, with notes of dark sweetness, fermentation, and natural spice. This initial phase is smooth yet complex, laying a solid foundation for what follows. Around the halfway point, the cigar undergoes a dramatic transition as fire-cured Latakia tobacco from Cyprus takes centre stage, introducing a bold wave of smoky intensity reminiscent of a campfire, with charred wood and aromatic depth more commonly found in fine pipe blends.
This evolving, two-part journey is a first for the Arcana Series and highlights CAO’s willingness to experiment and innovate. The result is a medium to full-bodied cigar that moves from rich and grounded to smoky and expressive, offering a dynamic and memorable experience throughout.
The CAO Arcana Stokk is not for the traditionalist, it’s a cigar for those looking to explore something different, where craftsmanship and creativity collide to deliver a truly distinctive smoke.
